Which one is better wheel for beginners ?
Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster T150 PRO
When comparing the Logitech G29 and the Thrustmaster T150 Pro racing wheels, several factors come into play including price, build quality, force feedback, pedals, rotation range, and compatibility.
Price
As of mid-2025, the current prices of the Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T150 Pro racing wheels in India are approximately:
Logitech G29: Around ₹28,999 to ₹30,500, with typical listings at about ₹29,000 to ₹30,000 depending on the seller and availability.
Thrustmaster T150 Pro: Approximately ₹24,199 to ₹18,999 for the base T150 model, but the Pro version with the full 3-pedal metal set is generally priced closer to ₹24,000 to ₹30,000 depending on stock and seller; some listings for T150 Pro with pedals show prices near ₹24,199.
Build Quality and Design
The Logitech G29 features a robust and premium build with a leather-wrapped 28 cm diameter wheel and metal pedals including accelerator, brake, and clutch. The buttons and shifters are well-made, and it has a solid, slightly bulky design that ensures stability.
The Thrustmaster T150 Pro has a more compact and sleek design with a matte finish and rubber grips on the wheel. The standard pedals in the base T150 are plastic and less durable, but the Pro version includes the T3PA pedal set with metal pedals and a clutch, improving durability and realism. The wheel base is mostly plastic but designed to be space-saving.
Force Feedback
Logitech G29 uses a gear-driven force feedback system with two motors, providing strong feedback but can feel rough, notched, and noisy due to the gears.
Thrustmaster T150 Pro uses a hybrid belt and gear system, which results in smoother and more refined force feedback than the G29. It offers slightly stronger force feedback (2.4 Nm vs. 2.1 Nm for G29).
Rotation Range
The Logitech G29 offers a 900-degree rotation (about 2.5 turns), suitable for realistic driving simulations like Gran Turismo or Assetto Corsa.
The Thrustmaster T150 Pro offers up to 1080 degrees rotation (3 full turns), adjustable via software, which is beneficial for games requiring wider steering movements such as rally racing.
Pedals
Logitech G29 pedals are metal with good sensitivity and progressive brake resistance, including a clutch pedal out of the box, enhancing realism and immersion.
The Thrustmaster T150 Pro’s standard pedals are plastic and less durable, but the Pro version’s T3PA pedal set improves this with metal pedals and a clutch. However, the Pro pedal set is more expensive and not included in the base package.
Compatibility
Logitech G29 supports PlayStation 3, 4, 5, and PC but not Xbox.
Thrustmaster T150 Pro supports PlayStation 3, 4, 5, and PC as well.
Conclusion
The Thrustmaster T150 Pro offers smoother and stronger force feedback, a wider rotation range, and a more compact design, making it a better choice for users who want a more refined and immersive experience and are willing to pay more.
The Logitech G29 excels in build quality with premium materials, better pedals included by default, and is more affordable, making it a great option for beginners or those on a budget who want solid performance and durability.
Overall, if you prioritize smoother force feedback and wider rotation and don't mind the higher price, the Thrustmaster T150 Pro is better. If you want better pedals out of the box, a more premium feel, and a lower price, the Logitech G29 is preferable.

🎮 What Exactly is Gaming from my perspective?
What Exactly is Gaming from my perspective?
Gaming is not just a pastime or a way to earn money. It's an art, an experience, and sometimes even a life lesson. Currently, many gamers in India are drawn to battle royale games like Free Fire, PUBG, GTA V, or Minecraft. These games are great, but getting stuck only in them is like ignoring the broader world of gaming.
Story Mode Games – The Real Fun
Have you ever played story mode games? Where you're a warrior, fighting formidable enemies, falling, rising again, trying once more, and eventually conquering the boss. These games demand not only physical skill but also mental strength, emotional endurance, and thoughtful decision-making. You learn traits like critical thinking, strategic planning, and patience through these experiences.
Gaming is About Community
For many gamers today, gaming revolves around skins, kills, and rankings. But that often strips away the emotional richness and cooperation that gaming can offer. To build a healthier gaming culture, we need to promote reasoning, teamwork, and respect. That’s why I prefer co-op games – where communication, collaboration, and trust are essential for success.
Competition is Good – But It Should Be Healthy
A healthy level of competition sharpens us. But metrics like level, skins, or earnings don’t define greatness. What truly matters is:
-
What have you learned from gaming?
-
How do you treat other players?
-
How has gaming helped you grow as a person?
The Deeper Meaning of Gaming
-
Games as an Art Form
Titles like The Last of Us, God of War, and Red Dead Redemption 2 showcase powerful storytelling, visuals, soundtracks, and acting – comparable to great cinema or literature. -
Better Decision-Making
Choices in story-based or strategic games shape outcomes, teaching us real-life decision-making and foresight. -
Resilience Through Failure
Losing repeatedly but refusing to quit – gaming teaches this vital life lesson in perseverance. -
Mental Wellness
Not all games are about chaos. Peaceful games like Journey or Stardew Valley offer calm and emotional comfort. -
Teamwork & Empathy
Co-op games like It Takes Two, Portal 2, and Overcooked eliminate ego and demand patience, understanding, and reliance on each other. -
A Creative Outlet
Sandbox and builder games like Minecraft, Dreams, and RPG Maker give players the chance to unleash their imagination and create entire worlds. -
Skill Before Earning
Gaming can be monetized, yes. But let’s value skill, consistency, and character over just easy income. Play with purpose, not for shortcuts. -
Use the Internet Wisely
Your online behavior reflects who you are. Be a supportive, respectful, and motivating gamer who lifts others up.
And remember:
The way you play defines who you are.
“Game hard, but play fair.”
“Play to grow, not just to show.”
This is how I see gaming – it should be meaningful, not mindless. It should uplift, not degrade. After all, I play games for joy, for learning, and for the love of the experience.
